Hand Phaser (Type II)

Standard sidearm to all federation officers and Marines. Capable of firing a constant beam up to level 12.

Hand Phaser (Type I)

The Type I pahser was brought back in 2378 as a spatial ops weapon for stealth situations, due to its small size allowing it to be easily concealed. By 2379 The weapon was in widespread use by the marines as a backup weapon. It is capable of firing shots up to level 8.

Phaser Rifle (Type IV)

The Type IV phaser rifle was designed in 2381 as a replacement to the Type III phaser rifle.

Upgrades in this model include a kinetically rechargeable power Li Mg power cell. Capable of firing Constant beam up to level 10 and pulls fire up to level 16. Scope attachment (fitted as standard) includes a laser sight and Type III sensor array (standard on tricorders).

Tricorder (Type XVI)

Unlike its older counterparts the Type XVI tricorder folds out into 3 parts to give a larger working area without substantially increasing the unit size.

Emergency transport storage Unit (ETSU)

Designed and implemented in the closing stages of the Dominion war the ETSU uses a compacted transported buffer for the storage transportation of injured personnel, as it can act as a form of stasis as well as transportation for critically injured personnel away from the front line.

The device is capable of holding the pattern of a single person for up to 10 hours without significant pattern degradation.

Similar devices have also been implemented in shuttles and fighters as an escape/eject system. .

Heart of Stars

The Heart of Stars is a small spherical device roughly 1m in diameter. According to scans done by the crew of the Ithaca the outer structure of the heart predates the creation of Our Galaxy by 1.5 million years. Federation scanners were unable to penetrate the outer casing and analyze the material inside, however when the star was opened on star-date 238412.23 by the crew of the Ithaca discovered only 2 particles of Hydrogen held in stasis.
